Les Gorges de la Nesque: Villes sur Auzon, Monieux, Sault, Méthamis (84) - Walks in Orange and around

This itinerary which takes the tourist road of the Gorges de la Nesque, stays the most "sporting" road if you compare to those proposed on the whole territory: 22 km of progressive climb in the heart of an exceptional landscape: The Gorges de la Nesque, beautiful hydrogeologic breakthrough, wild canyon, where draw up themselves fantastic rocks which overhang an abyss throughout a road, marked out by tunnels and by belvederes. At your arrival in Monieux, you will discover the "Val de Sault", its scents of lavender in summer, the relief which surrounds it and gives to this country a pleasant sensation to be protected. On the way back you will go down carefully along the "Monts de Vaucluse", you will cross "la Forêt du Javon" and will join by Méthamis the country of the "Terrasses du Ventoux".
