Oppède-le-Vieux (84) - Walks in Orange and around

Oppede-le-Vieux is a quiet little village nestled on top of a rocky spur on the hillside of the Little Luberon. Some beautiful vegetation has taken over the village, which stands against a background of wild forests, coombs and rocks.

Many monuments act as guidelines through OppedeÂ’s colourful past, including 15th and 16th century stone houses, a medieval castle which ruins crown the village, a superb roman church and several chapels.
