Lauris (84) - Walks in Orange and around

Lauris is a small village on a spur between the Durance river and the Luberon mountain. Its situation offers a panoramic view over the magnificent landscape.

Walk around the old village, in cute narrow streets where you can see beautiful houses and fountains from the 16th and 17th century. The church Notre Dame de la Purification has one of the most beautiful wrought iron bell tower in the area. The castle shelters artists and craftsmen in its yard as well as a Conservatory Garden for dyeing plants, located on the terrace.
