Gigondas is a charming village nestled at the feet of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Located in the heart of the ancient Principality of Orange, you can admire its 11th century church, the walls surrounding the city, the Romanesque chapels and the Cheminement de Sculptures (the Sculpture Way), a journey into contemporary sculptures, located outdoors on the villageÂ’s medieval hill, and in the heart of the ancient Hospices (hospital).

Gigondas is a must-see halt for wine lovers. Vineyards cover 3000 acres. Requested as soon as 1924, the Appellation dÂ’Origine was granted in 1971.
